توضیحات
NPN مخفف عبارت Negative-Positive-Negative است. در ترانزيستورهاي NPN، الکترون ها نقش حامل اکثريت را ايفا مي کنند. ترانزيستورهاي NPN داراي 3 پايه و 3 لايه هستند که مي توانند به عنوان کليد يا تقويت کننده عمل کنند. استفاده از ترانزيستورهاي NPN بيشتر از ترانزيستورهاي PNP است.
ولتاژ بين پايه و اميتر که با VBE نشان داده مي شود، در پايه مثبت و در اميتر منفي است زيرا براي يک ترانزيستور NPN، پايه هميشه نسبت به اميتر مثبت است. ولتاژ تغذيه کلکتور در مقايسه با اميتر مثبت است.
بنابراين، در يک ترانزيستور دوقطبي NPN براي هدايت، کلکتور هميشه مثبت تر از پايه و اميتر است.
Description
NPN is short for Negative-Positive-Negative. In NPN transistors, electrons play the role of majority carriers. NPN transistors have 3 bases and 3 layers that can act as switches or amplifiers. The use of NPN transistors is more common than PNP transistors.
The voltage between base and emitter, denoted by VBE, is positive at the base and negative at the emitter because for an NPN transistor, the base is always positive with respect to the emitter. The supply voltage of the collector is positive compared to the emitter.
Therefore, in an NPN bipolar transistor to conduct, the collector is always more positive than the base and emitter.
